Havering SEND Teams

Supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) is a shared responsibility across the entire Local Area Partnership. This collaborative network includes teams from the Council’s Children’s and Adults’ Services, local health providers, educational settings, alternative provisions, and a range of voluntary and community organisations. Together, they work to ensure that families receive coordinated, inclusive, and comprehensive support tailored to individual needs.

Within the Council’s wider Children’s Services are the SEND and Alternative Provision Services which is made up of the teams listed below, these teams work in different ways  supporting early years settings, as well as schools and further education settings, through what is known as the Team Around the School (TaS) approach.
