Accessibility statement

This accessibility statement applies to Havering London Borough.

This website is administered by Havering Council and provided by Idox Software Ltd. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts using browser or device settings

  • zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen

  • navigate most of the website using a keyboard or speech recognition software

  • listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions NVDA)

We’ve also made the website text as simple as possible to understand.

AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.

  • When a provider signs up for an account on the website to add and update details of their service the WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) rich text editor boxes, in the form, are not fully accessible using only a keyboard. A third-party plugin is used to provide this feature and an alternative is under evaluation.

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard, due to [insert one of the following: ‘the non-compliances’, ‘the exemptions’ or ‘the non-compliances and exemptions’] listed below:
