Havering SENDIASS is a free, impartial and confidential service that operates at arm’s length from the local authority. Information, advice and support is provided to Havering parents/carers with children aged 0 to 16 years with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and also directly to young people with SEND aged 16 to 25 years on SEND matters relating to their education, health or social care. Please note that we can support young people who are 16 to 25 years old via their parents/ carers if the young person would prefer this option (and gives their consent) or if the young person lacks mental capacity.

We are a self-referral service so parent/ carer and young people need to contact us directly if they would like support.

Further information on the support that SENDIASS provides can be found on our website
