Audiology

Our children’s audiology service offers hearing assessments to children from newborn babies to young adults. We also support children with significant hearing difficulties who may be fitted with hearing aids.

The service uses a range of tests to facilitate the rehabilitation of children with a hearing impairment and fit digital behind the ear hearing aids.

This service is for residents of Barking and Dagenham, Havering and Brentwood

The newborn screening service is available to all babies born at Queens Hospital.

This service also operates a newborn hearing screening programme at Queen's Hospital. Further information can be obtained from the programme co-ordinator on 01708 435000 ext. 4921.
