Rainey Day’s Childminders is located in New Place Gardens.  The setting is 7 minutes’ walk to Upminster Station and all of Upminster’s fantastic amenities, schools, parks, library, pond etc.

We have opened our home and created a stimulating, fun environment for children from the ages of 0 to 3 years old.  We have focused on the Early Years Foundation stage framework and have developed a nursery style setting with the added benefit of having the home comforts attached.

All staff are DBS enhanced checked, and all staff are paediatric first aid trained.

We are open Monday to Thursday from 7.30am until 5.30pm and will provide healthy homemade meals and snacks throughout the day on request.   It is our aim that each child sees our home as his/her home and feels safe and secure while in our care. 

We believe that the relationship between parent, carer and child is essential.  Working together in an open partnership, we can set personal goals that are rewarding and achievable.

Daily activities will be programmed and based around a set curriculum.  This has been developed to ensure the development of each child within the setting, we miss no special occasions: Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Easter, Christmas, Diwali etc, painting, cooking, role play, playing with sand/ water, construction equipment or having fun in the garden will be part of your child’s daily routine. As well as trips to the local park, duck pond or library.
