Sycamore Trust Autism Employment Project
Sycamore Trust want to hear from autistic adults in Havering who are seeking or considering seeking employment and need a one-to-one service to enhance their skills and knowledge in applying for jobs and attending interviews.
The London Borough of Havering and Sycamore Trust UK have renewed our partnership and our commitment to provide employment support and advice to autistic residents across the Borough. With support from the London Borough of Havering, we aim to increase employment opportunities for the autistic community.
This project is designed to create opportunities for the autistic community and to raise awareness of autism among employers in the London Borough of Havering.

Are you a member of the Havering autistic community? Are you unemployed, over 18 and looking for support to access employment opportunities? Then, we may be able to help, because our employment support for individuals in Havering is back for 2025!
Sycamore Trust want to hear from autistic adults in Havering who are seeking or considering seeking employment and need a one-to-one service to enhance their skills and knowledge in applying for jobs and attending interviews.
And it's not only an excellent opportunity for individuals, it is also excellent news for local businesses. We need local employers in the area to support the initiative. Importantly, there are no costs involved, nor are there any expectations. All we're looking for is an employer willing to offer work experience for suitable candidates, and in return, Sycamore Trust UK will provide our CPD-accredited autism awareness training and an audit of the premises & recruitment process.
Anyone interested in signing up for the project must be a resident of the London Borough of Havering and over 18.
