Havering SEND Early Years Service - Helping Your Child with Down Syndrome to Thrive Workshop
The SEND Early Years Support Service (SEND EYSS) is pleased to announce a comprehensive and engaging series of workshops designed exclusively for parent carers of children under 5 in Havering with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Our workshops go beyond information-sharing—they offer hands-on, practical support, interactive activities, and opportunities for parents to ask questions and receive tailored advice from our experienced specialist advisors.
Each session focuses on providing relevant, easy-to-implement strategies, up-to-date resources, and expert insights to empower families in nurturing their child's development. We are committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and collaborative environment where families can connect, share experiences, and build a supportive network within the community.
Participants will benefit from:
- Direct access to SEND experts and advisors
- Practical demonstrations and real-life examples
- Opportunities to connect and learn from other families on similar journeys
Our aim is to ensure that every parent leaves with clear, actionable knowledge and renewed confidence to support their child’s unique needs. Whether you are looking for guidance on a specific challenge or seeking to broaden your understanding of SEND support, our workshops are designed to be engaging and informative.
