Oaks Activity Centre - Pre-School, Holiday and After School Club
The Oaks Activity Centre and Pre-school, Collier Row Road, offers children aged 3 years and over plenty of opportunities to enjoy its wonderful setting.
Our Pre-school provides children aged 3 and 4 with a secure environment in which to learn and grow. Both indoor and outdoor areas are fully equipped to allow the children's imaginations to run free.
Our holiday and after school care offers a range of sporting and leisure activities both indoors and outside making use of the Astro-turf pitch and hard surface area, as well as an indoor gym, dance/drama studio, art/craft workshop and the quiet den

Multi-activity weeks/days 8am - 6pm (sessions running from 9am - 5pm) Book for Easter - After school activities available 5-6pm.
Regular sessions include football and street dance.

we are open from 3.30 – 6pm Monday to Friday during term-time and at special times during half-terms and school holidays. These special times do depend on demand, but are always well-publicised in advance.
Qualified playleaders provide indoor and outdoor games, sports, drama, dance, art, craft, cookery, gardening and many other activities for children to enjoy. On schooldays there is even time for homework in the Den!
Refreshment in the form of drinks, snacks and hot meals are part of the Oaks experience, and free play is encouraged, both indoors and outdoors, supervised by qualified staff who are always on hand.’

Getting there - The 247 bus runs from Barkingside to Romford (stop on Collier Row Road) and the 62 bus runs from Barking to Collier Row (stop at City Pavilion), both 3 minutes walk from The Oaks.
