Our Nursery is located on the Orchard Village estate in Rainham, with easy access to Dagenham and the A13 trunk road. The setting is purpose-built and offers flexible, full-day care for children from birth to 5 years old.

The nursery has three well-designed rooms, each tailored to enhance free-flow play and learning opportunities, with direct access to an outdoor classroom.

Baby Room

Our spacious baby room provides opportunities for little ones to practice early movement skills, from crawling to walking. Soft, cosy areas are set up for stories, sensory play, group activities, and construction. Babies can explore textural and messy play, supported by qualified practitioners, and enjoy social interactions during shared mealtimes.

The baby room also includes:

    •    A walk-in Sensory Room where children can explore lights and textures.

    •    Gnome Home: an indoor physical play area with stairs, a slide, and a platform for babies to develop their physical abilities safely.

    •    A covered outdoor area that allows babies to enjoy fresh air and explore their world.

Starfish Room

Children move into the Starfish Room at around two years old. Here, toddlers can explore messy, imaginative, and social play while having fun. A wide range of books, crayons, and educational resources provide endless learning opportunities.

Dolphin Room

The Dolphin Room supports children in developing the skills they need for a smooth transition to school. Carefully planned, fun activities encourage independence and confidence, with plenty of opportunities for early literacy, numeracy, and creative play. Messy play is an important part of the day, with sand, water, painting, playdough, and other hands-on activities always available.

Outdoor Learning

All rooms open directly onto a large adventure classroom, which is accessible in all weathers. We operate a free-flow system, allowing children to move between indoor and outdoor spaces independently throughout the day. Practitioners plan activities across both environments, incorporating children’s individual interests into the curriculum.
