I am an ofsted registered Term Time Only childminder. I have always loved working with children and providing fun opportunities for them to learn through play and focused activities. I worked full time as a fully qualified primary school teacher for 10 years, before training to become a childminder after having my first child. My priority is ensuring that all children in my care feel valued, safe and happy.
I have a primary school aged daughter and son, who both love having other children with us and part of our family environment. I currently look after early years children and collect solely from Hylands Primary School. I can not offer any school or Nursery morning drop offs nor mid morning collection from Hylands Nursery.

I have a spacious, open plan kitchen- conservatory, which provides a good space for children to engage in a wide variety of activities and leads out on to a secure shady garden.
Child-friendly resources are easily accessible to children of all ages (stage appropriate) and safely stored within toy baskets on the floor for babies and in kallax units for early years and drawers and cupboards for older children.
The house and garden is child proofed with stair gates and cupboard locks. The garden is fully enclosed and screened with trees and shrubbery. I regularly check all equipment and undertake risk assessments.
