Acorns Day Opportunities for Adults with Learning Difficulties and Disabilities

Acorns Day Opportunities Logo

Acorns Day Opportunities is an independent group for adults aged 18+ with learning difficulties and disabilities, created and run by four experienced staff with backgrounds in education and care. We offer structure and routine throughout our day, supporting where necessary and encouraging independence where possible. We are a small group with a friendly, family feel.

We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to be themselves, see their friends, socialise, learn new things, have new experiences, make their own choices and have fun, regardless of their ability. Having structure and purpose in life is essential for mental health. We provide these opportunities through a range of activities, structured around clients’ interests, as well as seasonal events, and each session is very busy! Our aim is for our clients to be happy, fulfilled and as independent as possible.
