Mrs Jennifer Schol (Little Poppets Childcare)
The setting is graded Outstanding by Ofsted (2025) and has maintained this grade over many years. We offer high quality care and education through a very stable, holistic environment. Children thrive through strong bonds and relationships they form. Children often attend for long hours each day, so it is important that each child is happy and confident in their surroundings through feeling at home in the setting. They have their own lockers for their belongings, and own bathroom peg. Children feel empowered to choose activities and resources, ask questions and share their ideas. Children usually start as babies and stay until they are 11 years old, when leaving primary school and starting secondary school. School children have support with their homework after school and parents love this service we provide. Many parents wish to book in advance, to secure their place. We run a waiting list service and offer a placement only.
We offer 30 hours funding. Funding includes qualified trained staff, activities and water. Everything else is seen as Extra BUT please note that we are a vegan, eco-friendly and fully inclusive setting. For us that means we have chosen to include all other extras FREE. We provide breakfast, lunch, dinners, occasional puddings and healthy snacks. Nappies, pull ups. Make our own eco-friendly wipes, nappy cream and hand sanitizer spray as well as a nappy spray. All our food menus have been designed by a qualified nutritionist that is aware we are a vegan setting and putting healthy eating as a high priority.
I am highly qualified. My main qualifications are BA (Hons) Degree in Childhood and Youth Studies. NVQ Level 4 in Advanced Practice, Accredited Special Educational Needs Coordinator Level 3. I have a current First Aid certificate. Healthy Early Years Awards of Bronze, Silver and Gold. I have many other qualifications which you can see at interview.
The setting is open Monday to Thursday 7.30 to 6pm.
