Scallywags Nursery
We are a small friendly setting, situated by Hornchurch station giving easy access into the city. Scallywags Nursery has been providing care and education for our community for over 20 years, our stimulating environment offers awe and wonder and gives children opportunities to enjoy learning and the innovative and exciting curriculum is a prominent factor in the children’s high level of achievement.
We are motivated by the Forest School ethos therefore much of the children’s play and learning happens in an outdoor environment. Forest School allows children space and time to play, reconnect with nature and their environment, learn to take risks and have their own adventures.
We are able to provide 2,3 and 4 year old funded spaces.

We are a fully inclusive setting with experience in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities; we have 3 trained and experienced SEND Co-ordinators who have worked with children with many different types of SEND we understand the fears and support some parents may need. We are committed to providing support by following the principles of Early support and the Code of Practice 2014.
