We are a pre school and playgroup that are open during term times. We are situated in the heart of Harold Wood, just a short distance from the train station and within walking distance to local schools in the area and surrounding area.
We offer spaces for children starting from aged 2 years up until the age of 5 years. We accept 2 year old funding for working parents, 2 year old deprivation funding, 15 hours EEE funded places and also offer the full 30 hours childcare offer with valid codes provided by parents.
We are open for 2 year old playgroup sessions on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings 9am-12 noon, the morning sessions are carefully tailored to ensure activities are on offer to children aged 2/3 years as well as children aged 3-4 years, the children access a free flow play environment within a mixed age group 2-4 years.
Mondays we operate from 9am-3pm and offer sessions 9am-12noon and 12noon-3pm
Tuesday we operate from 9am-3pm and offer sessions 9am-12noon and 12noon-3pm
Wednesdays we operate from 9am-3pm and offer sessions 9am-12noon and 12noon-3pm
Thursdays we operate from 9am-3pm and offer sessions 9am-12noon and 12noon-3pm
Fridays we operate from 9am-3pm and offer sessions 9am-12noon and 12noon-3pm

Harold Wood Pre School are an independent privately managed pre school and playgroup for children aged 2-5 years. We operate from the buildings attached to the Methodist Church to provide quality care and and early education under the EYFS curriculum.
We are fortunate enough to be able to use the Church for special events such as our well loved Christmas nativity show for the preschool children and Easter Bonnet parade and invite our families to come along to watch.

- Our setting is wheelchair accessible, although our access to the garden area would be restricted to wheelchair access due to the doorway being higher than the ground level, requiring a step down. We are unable to accommodate a ramp. We would advise a visit to the setting for wheelchair users.
