Wingle-Tye Pre-School 2

Welcome to Wingle-Tye 2 situated next to Fairkytes Art Centre.

Wingle-Tye Pre-School 2 was founded by mums who wanted an environment that was not only educational but most of all friendly and fun for their children and where parents felt confident in the knowledge that their children were safe.

Our staff ratios are high and turnover is low - so we develop strong relationships with the children.

We pride ourselves on our personal approach to each individual child, meeting the family's needs especially during those first few weeks of settling in where it can be an anxious time for both parents and child. We also aim to provide an educational programme for the care of children in the local community, within a healthy, safe and stimulating environment. Children are cared for by experienced, qualified staff who have high expectations for academic achievement while respecting and valuing individuals.

Wingle-Tye is to be enjoyed.  We aim to teach learning through play with plenty of stories to help with listening and language skills and games to enable number recognition. We offer a varied selection of activities which will promote the development of fine and gross motor skills – all mixed with lots of sharing and socialising, which are very important skills for preparing the children for school. We follow the Letters and Sounds technique throughout the setting, leading on to basic phonics which we develop through our special sessions for children who will be starting school in the following September.

Our sessions are:

We offer term time places for up to 38 weeks a year

Mornings 09.00 - 12.00

Afternoons 12.00 - 15.00

All Day 09.00 - 15.00

Come and see us. We look forward to meeting you.
