Bumbles Preschool has been providing high quality childcare since 2009. We are just of Mawney road and local to Crownfields, Parklands and Mawney Schools.

At Bumbles Preschool we believe everyone should feel welcome and included, a place where children feel happy, safe and secure, and part of the Bumbles Family.

We keep our group sizes small and maintain a high staff-to-child ratio, so every child is really known and supported. This helps them build strong, trusting relationships with all of our staff and feel safe and confident in their surroundings. It also gives children the opportunity to form close friendships with one another, creating a calm, nurturing environment that feels very much like an extended family.

Our approach to learning is play-based and child-led, allowing children to explore with confidence, follow their own ideas, and develop curiosity about the world around them. Our caring staff support and extend these learning opportunities by encouraging children’s exploration and natural curiosity.

We celebrate creativity and independent thinking by incorporating natural loose parts and authentic resources alongside more traditional toys. This helps children to use their imagination, think independently, and explore the world in meaningful ways.

To suit parents needs we offer a range of childcare sessions – mornings, afternoon or full day sessions. All our sessions are open to both private fee paying parents and parents in receipt of government funding (15 and 30 hours).

Notes: The preschool is conveniently located just of Mawney Road and is within easy walking distance from Crownfields School and Parklands School, and the bus route 252 which stops at the end of the road. Children have free flow access to our outdoor gardens throughout the year.
