Havering's SEND Working Together Promise

Across Havering's education, health, social care, and voluntary and community sectors, there is a shared commitment to working together with children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities, and their families, around individuals' support needs and on ways to improve the wider system. To help do this effectively, representatives of Havering families, its SEND Parent Carer Forum, and from across Council services, local health services, and Havering educational settings, came together and, with the support of the Council for Disabled Children (CDC), co-produced a Working Together Promise, setting out how key partners will work together with children and families. We are pleased to publish our Promise and will endeavour to ensure that the commitment outlined in this document is reflected in the experiences of Havering's SEND community.
