Havering Children's Centres

Children's Centre staff are welcoming and friendly and can provide information on the range of family activities which are in their weekly activity programme and available to all families who live in the borough.

Children’s Centre’s are a one-stop shop for children aged 0-5 years and their parents and carers. Providing access to family health care, advice and guidance for parenting and child development, early education and childcare. Children’s Centre’s also have links to career and employment services to support parents who want to return to work or explore training opportunities.

To access services within a Havering Children’s Centre you will need to register your family. To register please contact your local Children’s Centre for further information:

Family Support

​​There are also a team of Family Practitioners who can provide advice, guidance and practical support to families who maybe facing challenges which require an individual plan of support to be put in place.

This could include in a range of areas such as:

  • Parenting Support
  • Help with benefits and housing
  • Help in accessing support around drugs, alcohol and domestic abuse
  • Support with children with challenging behaviour
  • Home & online safety
