The Mammary Walk: Prevent Breast Cancer
The Mammary Walk is dedicated to raising vital funds to support Prevent Breast Cancer’s vital research into the prediction and prevention of breast cancer.
Last year, the mammary walkers came together to walk 10km and raised over £35,000. Not only did it create wonderful memories, but it brought us even closer to opening the doors of the National Breast Imaging Academy. This year, the 10km walk will take on Manchester City Centre, including lots of pit stops to engage with the public on all things breast awareness.
Anyone is welcome to get involved! Your participation would be greatly appreciated. If you’re worried about raising the fundraising target, Prevent Breast Cancer will be here to help you every step of the way.
Every year, over 56,900 individuals are diagnosed with breast cancer – that’s 156 people a day. This is why your support has never been more important.
