RANi Mind (Raising Awareness on Neurodivergent Individuals)

RANi Mind (RANI- Raising Awareness on Neurodivergent Individuals) is a voluntary community organisation dedicated to supporting families of neurodivergent children through culturally informed guidance, advocacy, and education.We work closely with parents and families, communities across Greater Manchester, educational establishments (schools and colleges) and community groups and organisations, including faith groups. Our vision is for every neurodivergent child and their family to feel understood, supported, empowered, and included within their school and community; towards building a society where difference is celebrated, culture is respected, and families have the confidence and knowledge to advocate for their children.RANi Mind’s services include:

Social Gatherings (mothers/female carers)
Support Group (mothers, fathers and carers)
Drop-in (mothers/female carers)
SEND Connect Walk (mothers/female carers)
Online Zoom meetings (mothers, fathers and carers - depending on the session scheduled that month)
Whatsapp Support Networks- for mothers/female carers, fathers/male carers and also a support group for women who are neurodivergent, or exploring this further)
Advice and guidance in matters around SEND, education and completing forms (such as benefits and blue badge applications).
Training and workshops

(Our volunteers speak a range of languages including Urdu and Punjabi)
