NHS - Children’s Special Needs Nursing Service

 The Special Needs School Nursing Service is a city-wide team providing nursing support within special school settings.

We aim to provide care and support for the health needs of children and young people and their families across the community, with a particular focus on SEN schools.

Nurses are located within the specialist schools across Manchester. The Team Leaders and the Special Needs Dietetic Service are based at Longsight Health Centre.

The Special Needs Nursing Service  operates Monday – Friday, 9 am – 3 pm; we are not available during weekends and bank holidays. The team is split in to two localities covering schools across the city.
