FutureSkills at MediaCityUK is a specialist creative, digital and technology college within the Salford City College Group. Located in the heart of MediaCityUK, the college provides industry-focused education for students aged 16 to 19, adult learners and higher education students, with a strong emphasis on digital innovation, media production and emerging technologies.

Creative and Digital Industries: FutureSkills offers vocational and technical qualifications in Creative Media, Digital Marketing and Journalism, Music, Games Design, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Software Development and Media Make-Up. Courses are designed to develop both technical expertise and practical industry skills.

Computing and Technology: Students can study specialist programmes in Computer Science, Cyber Security and Software Development, covering areas such as networking, programming, systems security, mobile app development and software engineering.

Media and Creative Production: Learners benefit from hands-on experience in broadcasting, film production, radio, photography, digital content creation and journalism. Industry projects help students develop professional portfolios and real-world experience.

Industry-Standard Facilities: The campus features professional recording studios, radio studios, broadcasting suites, TV production facilities, games development suites and specialist digital learning spaces. Students learn using industry-standard software and equipment commonly used across the creative and technology sectors.
