Little Hope Supported Living

At Little Hope Supported Living, we provide non-personal care supported living accommodation for adults aged 18 to 65 with mental health needs and/or mild learning disabilities.
This service is listed on the Manchester Services Directory to support referrals from local authorities, commissioners, and partner agencies across Greater Manchester.
Our provision delivers safe, stable, and well-managed accommodation alongside structured, outcome-focused support designed to promote independence, reduce risk, and achieve sustainable move-on outcomes.
We operate community-based supported housing within shared accommodation settings, ensuring all properties meet appropriate housing and safety standards while providing an environment that supports independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
Our model integrates effective housing management with personalised, housing-related support to:
- Sustain tenancies and prevent placement breakdown.
- Reduce risk of homelessness and crisis escalation.
- Support step-down from higher-cost or higher-dependency services.
- Enable progression towards independent living.
Core service delivery includes:
- Provision and management of shared supported accommodation
- Person-centred support planning aligned to individual needs, strengths, and agreed outcomes.
- Delivery of structured support to develop independent living skills (budgeting, cooking, cleaning, tenancy management)
- Support with tenancy sustainment, including rent management and neighbour/community integration.
- Promotion of health and wellbeing, with appropriate signposting to NHS and specialist services
- Facilitation of access to education, training, volunteering, and employment opportunities
We work in partnership with local authorities, housing providers, mental health services, and wider professionals to ensure coordinated, responsive, and outcome-driven support delivery. Regular reviews are undertaken to evidence progress, manage risk, and ensure placements remain appropriate and cost-effective.
Little Hope Supported Living does not provide personal care. Our service is suitable for individuals who can live independently but require structured support to maintain accommodation, build resilience, and progress towards reduced dependency.
Our approach supports local authority objectives by delivering:
- Cost-effective alternatives to higher-intensity placements
- Reduced reliance on statutory services over time
- Improved tenancy sustainment and reduced repeat presentations
- Clear, measurable outcomes aligned to care and support plans.
Our overall aim is to provide a high-quality, scalable supported living model that delivers positive outcomes for individuals while supporting commissioning priorities across Greater Manchester.
