Manchester Adult Education Service, Learner Support and IAG Services

MAES offers courses for adults in: English, Maths, ICT, Childcare, Teaching Assistants, Health and Social Care, Community Interpreting, English for Speaker of other Languages (ESOL). We offer both face-to-face and online opportunities so you can learn at home or come into one of our friendly centres
MAES Learner Services provide:
Free impartial Information, Advice and Guidance about learning, training and work (IAG) - Matrix standard
Advice about financial support for course fees, childcare, transport costs and other costs whilst you are on one of our courses
Referral and signposting to other services
Advice about additional learning support such as: one to one support, BSL (communication support), note taker support, access arrangements for exams and pastoral care.
