We provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every pupil receives individualised support, enabling them to thrive both academically and personally. 

All our pupils have an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) and come to us after finding that mainstream education could not fully meet their needs. At Bushbury School, our primary aim is to re-engage young people in their learning journey, fostering their confidence and equipping them with the skills needed to achieve the best possible life chances. 

We offer comprehensive resources and meaningful opportunities for development across academic, social, and emotional domains. Our dedicated and highly trained staff team is committed to preparing every pupil for a successful future, providing consistent guidance and encouragement every step of the way. 

At the heart of Bushbury School’s ethos is a trauma-informed approach, embedded into all aspects of school life. This is complemented by our integrated therapeutic provision, which ensures that the emotional and mental well-being of every pupil is prioritised. Our staff work closely with a range of specialists, including:

Our curriculum is designed to meet the diverse needs of our pupils while aligning with the National Curriculum. It is individualised to suit each young person’s strengths, interests, and developmental stage.

In addition to academic pathways, we prioritise vocational skills and life skills development, ensuring our pupils are equipped for future success, whether transitioning to further education, training, or employment.
