Proud 2 b Parents

Proud 2 B Parents is an inclusive charity led by and for LGBT+ parents, carers, and their families. We support every route to parenthood, from birth, adoption, fostering, to surrogacy.
We celebrate the diversity of our community and provide safe spaces, peer support, events, and advocacy to help LGBT+ parents and children thrive across Greater Manchester and the Northwest.
At Proud 2 b Parents, we run meetups, youth sessions, family support, seasonal parties, and Pride family spaces, alongside online groups. We also provide training, consultancy, and bespoke services for professionals and organisations, helping build understanding of LGBT+ families. Our mascot, Rainbow, welcomes everyone to our supportive, vibrant community.
Our Meetups:
Proud 2 B runs a variety of welcoming meetups across Greater Manchester for LGBT+ parents, carers, and their children.
Our weekday Stay, Chat and Play sessions in Manchester and Bolton offer relaxed drop-ins with toys, activities, and time to chat. Every other Friday we explore local attractions on our Mid-Week Meet-ups, and once a month we host a Sunday Get-together at soft play or outdoors in the summer. We also offer Saturday Space for smaller community groups within Proud 2 B, and Proud 2 B Me, a monthly youth group for eight to16 year olds.
Our Training:
We also provide a range of training and services for businesses, organisations, and professionals to support understanding and inclusion of LGBT+ parents and carers. This includes ready-made training packages tailored to your needs, as well as bespoke sessions designed specifically for your organisation. We offer opportunities to meet your social responsibility goals through corporate sponsorship, and Matt Taylor-Roberts is available as a keynote speaker to share insights and experiences.
