Swimtime: Disability / SEN Swimming Lessons

Swimtime offers an alternative to mainstream swimming lessons for children through to adults with additional needs. Our teachers are highly experienced at teaching all abilities, we also specialise in working with children and young people with physical and learning disabilities.
Lessons are delivered in the Greater Manchester area in the Village Hotels which offer a warm clean environment for young people of all ages and Adults, on a 1 to 1 or small group basis. Family changing, lifts in the hotel and hoists for pool entry and exist are available. All swim equipment is also included. Teachers teach in the water and lessons can be booked individually or in monthly blocks or tailored to meet the needs of the swimmers.
We aim to offer fun, friendly and safe lessons, with fully qualified enhanced DBS checked teachers.
All lessons run on a half hour basis and can be booked via the website Swimtime - Find a Swimming lesson near you! or email lancashire@swimtime.org your requirements we offer the children's lessons in the daytime through to early evening and of a weekend during the allotted children's pool times. Adult lessons for 16+ can be offered anytime of the day or night.
The group lessons can be booked in monthly or termly blocks for £13.25 per lesson for members and £14.75 for non-members. And the private 1 to 1 lessons on an individual basis are from £29.50 per lesson for Village members and £31 for non-members. These can also be booked in monthly blocks to ensure the same time slot each week.

Village Hotel, Bury and Ashton Under Lyne both offer free parking on site whilst using the facilities, both offer parental or guardian viewing from the poolside. All venues offer warm pools, lifts to access different areas of the buildings and wheelchair friendly
