Learning Curve Group Hair and Beauty Academy Manchester

About Us
We offer a range of professional, accredited training courses and apprenticeships for school leavers and adults.
Our Manchester Hair and Beauty Academy is based in the heart of Manchester City Centre, just by Piccadilly Gardens and a short walk from all major transport stops.
Learners can develop their skills and gain hands-on experience by working on friends, family and members of the public in Commercial Salon Sessions.
Training for Learners Aged 16 to 18
We have a range of full-time, government funded study programmes available for school leavers.
So as not to disadvantage learners, there are no formal GCSE entry requirements for our courses, just the right levels of enthusiasm and dedication towards your studies! Applicants will be invited to an Information Session to help find the course best suited to their needs.
Learners who did not achieve the required grades for Maths and English will have the opportunity to study towards these qualifications alongside their main aim.
Funding Support for Learners Aged 16-18
Our study programme courses are fully funded by the government.
A Learning Curve Bursary is available to support with upfront costs for kit and uniform, travel and lunches (subject to eligibility).

Funding Support for Learners Aged 19+
If you are aged 19 or over and have lived in the UK for the last three years, you can fund your qualification with an Advanced Learner Loan from Student Finance England.
An Advanced Learner Loan is not based on income and there are no credit checks. You start to repay the funding in the April after your course has finished, and only if you are earning above the repayment threshold (currently £25,000 per year).
