Health Equality Charity: Black Health Agency for Equality
BHA for Equality is a health charity that exists to challenge health inequalities and support individuals, families and communities to improve their health and wellbeing.
This is undertaken though the delivery of community health education sessions on a range of long term health conditions; the provision of screening and testing services targeted at black and other minority groups and marginalised communities; support for individuals with long term conditions such as cancer, diabetes, TB and HIV and supporting individuals and communities to get involved in the development and redesign of health and social care services.
The charity delivers its services across the North of England.
