About TCES
TCES (The Complete Education Solution) is an independent social enterprise providing specialist therapeutic education for neurodiverse children and young people with special educational needs, typically associated with autism (ASC), social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, and related conditions.

Our therapeutic approach is rooted in care, resilience, and belief in every student’s potential. We nurture talents, build confidence, and create the best possible opportunities for positive social, emotional, and academic outcomes. Importantly, we never exclude, and we never give up on a child.

About the National Online School

The National Online School delivers a full curriculum alongside therapeutic support for children and young people aged 9–25 who are unable to attend a physical school setting.

Students join us for a variety of reasons, including:

  • School anxiety or emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA)
  • Special educational needs and disabilities
  • Situations where a current school is not meeting their needs

Please note, in order to begin the NOS referral process we require that the student is on an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)

Our Curriculum and Support

  • Core subjects: English, Maths and Science
  • Additional subjects tailored to student interests and needs
  • Full support to take GCSEs and A Levels, including provision of in-home invigilators if required
  • Therapy provision from our highly skilled, qualified team, including:
    • Speech and Language Therapy
    • Occupational Therapy
    • Psychodynamic therapies such as Art and Drama Therapy

Each student receives a personalised programme, built from careful assessment of their needs.

Our Approach
At TCES National Online School, we work in partnership with each student, their family, and, where appropriate, their school and Local Authority.

  • For some, we provide a 12-week therapeutic programme to stabilise, rebuild confidence, and support reintegration into education.
  • For others, we offer a long-term alternative to mainstream schooling, ensuring students have the same access to high-quality education and therapeutic support in a safe and flexible environment.

Above all, our aim is to provide an education that meets every learner where they are, supports them to grow, and gives them the tools to thrive.
