A Child Of Mine

A Child of Mine is a registered charity supporting families across Staffordshire and UK and working alongside healthcare professionals when a child has died. We are a small charity but work passionately to deliver services locally for families who have lost a child at any age or circumstance.
We provide confidential support, information, guidance and a listening ear after the death of a child. We also provide groups for both younger and older children who have suffered the loss of a sibling and for parents who can meet others who have been through the same journey.
We are starting to make a huge impact to the lives of bereaved families by increasing wellbeing, improving emotional health and by providing access to much needed information, guidance and emotional support. We work closely with healthcare professionals and the major children’s hospitals across the country including Alder Hey, Great Ormond Street, Birmingham and Manchester. We educate on the needs and experiences of bereaved parents which helps to improve the care they give in the future.
We are passionate about making a difference to bereaved families and providing them with as much support as possible during the dark days that lie ahead.
