The Manchester College Logo

You Care - We Care

Here at the Manchester College we take great pride in supporting all of our students set and achieve aspirational career goals but we understand that balancing studies and caring responsibilities can sometimes be difficult.

To help ensure that every student can work towards a successful and rewarding career, we have a dedicated Student Experience Team who are a single point of contact for all of our carers.

Carers will have the opportunity to have regular one to one support meetings, attend our annual conference as part of Carers Week in June and the opportunity to access the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award free of charge.

We understand meeting with others in a similar position can be especially helpful so we offer bespoke enrichment opportunities across the year.

To ensure that carers are aware of all the support and events on offer, we have advocate groups for our carers, peer mentors and champions.

There is also a dedicated area for carers on the Manchester College Website and links provided through our Student Hub

We look forward to welcoming you to the college and supporting you on your journey to amazing.

To see our full offer - please take a look at our PowerPoint in the downloads section.
