Manchester City of Sanctuary

Part of a national movement of over 60 towns and cities of sanctuary, across the UK, gathering supporters from all walks of life and making the message #refugeeswelcome a reality in practical ways:

• Awareness Raising - creating opportunities for local people to meet refugees and asylum seekers, hear their story and understand why they need sanctuary

• Advocacy - working with others to ensure the voice of sanctuary seekers is heard and their potential recognised

• Action - serving every day needs for befriending and help, working with local support networks or setting up our own where we find gaps
