The Growth Company: Employment Legal Advice

The Growth Company Logo

The Growth Company together with Citizens Advice and a network of legal partners, set up Employment Legal Advice Service - a service to specifically help individuals across Greater Manchester to access free employment-related legal support. Our service is designed to help you access the right advice at the right time as quickly and easily as possible.

If you think you need Employment Legal Advice one of our friendly advisors will take you through the following simple steps:

  1. Contact: Provide us with details of your employment issue, either by email, phone or by filling in a brief enquiry form.
  2. Triage: Your enquiry will be passed on to one of our dedicated triage advisors who will review your case and decide on an appropriate pathway for you. Please note that our triage advisors cannot give legal advice themselves.
  3. Referral: If one of our advisors thinks you need a further conversation with a solicitor they will match you with an expert from our network of Pro Bono legal partners. They will book a meeting for you, giving you the chance to discuss your case for free and receive expert advice on your next steps.

If the information you need is readily available through another service, you will be signposted to either ACAS (Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service), Citizens Advice Bury and Bolton, Citizens Advice Manchester or Employ GM.
