We are MUD
We are Manchester Urban Diggers. MUD is dedicated to finding solutions to problems with our local food systems. This includes; advocating for food sovereignty, providing volunteering opportunities and services and growing fruit, vegetables and herbs to make available to the local community. We always use organic growing methods and improve local biodiversity and soil health wherever we grow.
We are a nonprofit social enterprise and any money that we make goes towards developing our projects, providing free services and events for the community and creating employment opportunities for our volunteers. We have a range of projects that you can find out about on our projects page and we offer a wide range of services for the public and private sector.
