Emmaus Mossley

Emmaus Mossley is a charity that empowers people to overcome homelessness for good. We provide people with the foundation of a home and life-changing tailored support.
We’re here for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. We see the person and their strengths – and help them get their life back on track, based on the future they want to create. When people are ready, we support them to find, secure and move into their own permanent home.
Nestled in the Tame Valley, our Emmaus Mossley residential community is home for up to 26 people at any one time. Our residents have a home, a purpose and a chance to make a real contribution to their community.
The Emmaus Mossley Second-hand Superstore is our social enterprise where we collect, process and sell a wide range of donated items. It’s a place where you can find affordable and interesting furniture, household items, clothing, books, toys and much more.
Our Second-hand Superstore gives new life to pre-loved items – reducing waste and promoting reuse. We also have a thriving café, weekly art and upcycling groups, and regular community events, helping people build social connections.
When you shop with us and donate goods, you’re helping to sustain our charity and the support we provide to our residents.
