Mental Health First Aid Training
I offer Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Training to organisations across Greater Manchester. This comprehensive course equips participants with the skills and knowledge to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health issues in colleagues, clients and the wider community. The training covers a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, and psychosis and provides practical strategies for offering initial help and guiding individuals toward appropriate professional support.
MHFA Training is suitable for employees at all levels and is particularly beneficial for managers, HR professionals and those in roles that involve regular interaction with people. The course promotes a supportive work environment, reduces stigma around mental health and helps create a culture of openness and understanding.
I offer comprehensive Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Training for your workforce, available in flexible formats to suit your needs. You can choose from:
- Two-Day MHFA Course: This in-depth training can be conducted either online or face-to-face. It covers a wide range of mental health issues, equipping participants with the skills to recognize symptoms, provide initial help and guide individuals toward appropriate support.
- Half-Day Mental Health Awareness Session: This shorter session is ideal for those looking to raise general awareness about mental health in the workplace. It can also be delivered either virtually or in person and focuses on understanding common mental health conditions and promoting a supportive environment.
Both options are led by a certified MHFA instructor, ensuring a high-quality learning experience through interactive presentations, discussions and activities. By offering these training sessions, your organization can foster a more inclusive and supportive workplace, enhance employee well-being and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health.
