POTENS: Parkview

Parkview is a nine bed registered residential service for adults with:
- Mental health needs
- Complex needs
- Learning disabilities
- Challenging behaviour
- Dual diagnosis.
All rooms fully furnished and en-suite. There is a communal lounge, dining room and kitchen. We are close to all amenities and transport links
We take person-centred approach, working within the recovery model, encouraging independence and focused on positive outcomes for each individual. We encourage a homely environment, supporting daily living activities and facilitating access to local inclusive community activities.
Park View is close to the town centre and community activities of Salford. The service offers people with high support needs a package which includes individualised support and care, in a stable environment, aiding activities of daily living.
The skilled staff team are qualified to NVQ Level 3 with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health accreditation, plus the benefit of advice, guidance and training from the Potens Behavioural Support and Therapy Team.
Parkview offers support to address:
- Personality disorder
- Bi-polar
- Depression
- Schizophrenia
- Poor motivation
- Self harm
- Dual diagnosis
Support can also be offered for clients on a Community Treatment Order or Section under the Mental Health Act. Staff work in partnership with other concerned professionals to involve residents with local therapeutic resources such as CPN’s, mental health clinics and substance misuse teams.
