Gaskell House Psychotherapy Centre

NHS Logo

The Gaskell House Psychotherapy Service offers a range of different treatments. Many of the treatments are based on psychodynamic psychotherapy. This means looking at the hidden causes of distress, which the patient may not be fully aware of at the start of therapy. Particular attention is given to the relationship between the patient and the therapist, where difficulties can come to life and be recognised and worked through. There is a waiting list for most therapy which can be several months.
