Family Hubs - SEND up to age 25

Family Hubs provide activity for families with children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) up to the age of 25.

Manchester Local Offer

The Local Offer provides information about all things SEND for children and young people up to the age of 25, and also their parents/carers. The Local Offer pages include information of how to access support, advice, activities, groups and a regular newsletter.

Each of the Family Hubs offer a Local Offer Drop in, where families can find out more about the SEND activities that can be accessed. To find out when these sessions run, please visit the page for your local hub.

SEND, Early Development Inclusion Team (SEDIT)

From 1 April 2026 the early years RHOSEY team will be moving from Rodney House School back to Manchester City Council (MCC), Children and Education Services.

The name of the service will change from RHOSEY to Manchester SEND, Early Development Inclusion Team (SEDIT) and has a new logo.

Individual team contact numbers and MCC emails will remain the same.

All referrals and queries to Manchester SEND, Early Development Inclusion Team (SEDIT) previously Rodney House outreach for families/settings, should come through a shared email SEDIT@manchester.gov.uk

Other email addresses used by RHOSEY and some of the actions we process through email will change – see below:

Settings and Schools

  • Early Years SEN Inclusion Funding (SENIF): For Early Years settings, requests should continue to be completed through the establishment portal. Schools should send requests by email eysenif@manchester.gov.uk
  • Early Years SEND Pathway: For Early Years settings, requests for the Reception 2027 cohort will be completed through the establishment portal. Schools should send requests by email eysendpathway@manchester.gov.uk

Health

Outreach for School Nursery class will stay under Rodney House School. Referrals and queries to outreach should be sent via email outreach@rodneyhouse.manchester.sch.uk
