Infant Feeding Support

The Manchester Infant Feeding Team aims to promote, protect and support breastfeeding and safe formula feeding for parents to be, new parents and their infants. They offer a person centred approach, following evidence-based research to support optimal outcomes for parents and babies, helping them to reach their personal feeding goals.

They offer antenatal contacts to prepare for feeding your baby, followed by early support after delivery with ongoing support as and when needed. Support is available via phone support, home visits, drop in clinics, virtual support groups and educational workshops (such as antenatal sessions and diary free weaning).

The services available are different across Manchester - to find out more you can contact the team via phone on 0161 388 4009 or email infantfeedingteam@mft.nhs.uk
