Young Carers School Champions Virtual Network
The Young Carers School Champions Virtual Network brings together named Young Carer Champions from schools across Manchester to support consistent, informed and high-quality practice. The network meets once per term and provides a dedicated space for school leads to stay up to date with local and national developments affecting young carers.
Network meetings include updates on changes to legislation, policy and requirements (for example, school census data), alongside input from partner organisations highlighting opportunities, programmes and support available to young carers.
